| En abril de 1789 la Bounty salió de Tahití y mientras cruzaba el estrecho de Endeavour, parte de la
tripulación se amotinó. El comandante Blight y sus 18 leales seguidores se embarcaron en uno de los
tres barcos auxiliares. Este pequeño cutter movido por una vela mayor, dos foques y la ayuda de
4 remeros llegó a recorrer 3,600 millas hasta Timor.
In April 1789, the H.M.S. Bounty left Tahiti and whilst passing through the Endeavour Channel, a number of the crew staged a mutiny.
Captain Blight and 18 loyal crew members were torced by the mutineers into one of the three small lifeboats and were cast adrift.This craft, powered by a large sail and with four men rowing at a time, covered 3.600 miles until they reached the safety of Timor.

Kapitän Blight und 18 seiner Getreuen stiegen in eines der drei Beilboote.Dieser Kleine kutter legte mit einem Hauptsegel, zwei Klüversegeln und der Hilfe von 4 Ruderern 3.600 Meilen bis Timor zurück.
